CASE-ing the Catty - Artisan Sketched Garden DSP

This week we are CASE-ing a punch project from the 2026 May – August Catalogue.

I chose the project in the photo above from page 54 of the 2026 May-August Catalogue. The punched circles behind the images from the Artisan Sketched Garden DSP is a very effective way to highlight them.

I stayed close to the layout of the sample card, but I decided to add a little more colour to the background. The pretty all-over design in Cloud Cover from the Velvet Meadow Specialty DSP adds soft colour to help the white circles pop. This is one of the ‘B’ side designs without the velvet accents. To add some soft texture I wrapped the (retired) Crinkled Seam Bind Ribbon around the DSP before adding it to a Basic White card base with a tiny border.

Although it doesn’t show up very well, the 1 7/8″ punch circles were embossed with the (retired) Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder for some subtle background texture and arranged on the background. I chose 3 of the vase images from the Artisan Sketched Garden DSP and fussy cut them on the line. Stampin’ Blends were used to colour the image in pastel tones to coordinate with the background DSP. The images were popped up on the circles. I chose the greeting from the (retired) Spotlight on Nature stamp set and stamped it in Secret Sea ink and fussy cut it.

For the inside, I have a Cloud Cover mat for the writing panel. I added the greeting from the new Phrases & Frames stamp set, stamped in Secret Sea ink. The outline butterflies from the All Aflutter stamp set were stamped in Secret Sea ink and cropped with the coordinating punch. I coloured the middle size one with colours used in the images on the front for continuity and added it to the bottom corner.
