CASE-ing the Catty – More Lovely Arrangements

Hi there,
Welcome to CASE-ing the Catty for this week.
If you’ve come from visiting Rochelle, then welcome! If you’re visiting me, I appreciate you stopping by today! You can continue your journey to see the other inspiring creations from the CTC Crew by clicking on the button at the bottom of the post.

This week we are CASE-ing a project from the 2026 January Online Exlusives. You can find these products by choosing Shop Products from the Menu and then Online Exclusives. The latest products are always displayed first.

I chose the project in the photo above, which you can see online when you view the Lovely Arrangements stamp set. The versatile layout of this card is what caught my eye. The leaves coming out of from the border and the sweet little flowers die cut on the white panel are lovely details.

I used the Lovely Blossoms Suite for my card last week, without looking ahead to this week. However, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to use the products to create another card this week. Any coordinating papers would look great with this layout and the sweet flowers from the Lovely Arrangements stamp set.
I have stayed true to the basic 2 vertical panel layout with the border between, but on a standard card base rather than a slimline. The other main difference, is that I have flipped the direction that the flowers come out from the border.
I started with a panel of Basic White cut to the size of a card front. The Cloud Cover striped paper was added to the left side of panel. I stamped the smaller flower images in Secret Sea ink and used the Cloud Cover Stampin’ Blend marker to add some soft colour to the centre of the flowers. The flowers were adhered in an irregular line against the edge of the striped paper. I like to use the Bone Folder first, to gently add some dimension to the flowers. A few Old Olive leaves were cropped from the paper and placed amongst the flowers.

The narrow strip of Secret Sea diamonds was added to a panel of the pretty Cloud Cover floral paper, which is my favourite from the Lovely Blossoms DSP. Two rows of white Baker’s Twine were placed against the edge of the flowers and finished with loose bow near the top. The finished panel was adhered to the front of the card base. The bold birthday greeting is from the February Product of the Month stamp set Fabulous Sayings. You can purchase this set for just $9AUD with a qualifying order of $125AUD or more. I stamped it in Secret Sea ink and fussy cut into 2 pieces and popped it up on dimensionals. A trio of Secret Sea flat pearls is the finishing touch.

For the inside, I have used the lighter side of the Secret Sea Two-Tone card stock for the mat and added a strip of the Cloud Cover striped paper at the bottom. Two greetings were stamped towards the top, the first is from the Fragrant Flowers stamp set stamped in Secret Sea ink. The smaller one in Old Olive ink is from the Banner Sayings stamp set. Banner Sayings is a great set of smaller greetings that can be cropped with the coordinating Three Banner Punch. It’s the perfect solution for quick greetings.

Beautiful card Judy. Love how you have swapped the leaves for the flowers – makes it look so full and the Secret Sea DSP strip is perfect. x
