CASE-ing the Catty – Lovely Arrangements

Hi there,

Welcome to CASE-ing the Catty for this week.

If you’ve come from visiting Rochelle then welcome!  If you’re visiting me, I appreciate you stopping by today! You can continue your journey to see the other inspiring creations from the CTC Crew by clicking on the button at the bottom of the post.

This week we are CASE-ing any project from the 2026 January – April Mini Catalogue. This is always fun and there are lots of great projects to provide inspiration.  If you do not already have a Demonstrator (in Australia) and would like your own complimentary hard copy of the catalogue, then fill in your details on the Request Catalogues page (click on the link) on my blog.

I chose the project in the photo above from page 28 of the 2026 January – April Mini Catalogue. It is a simple and flexible layout with a cluster of embellishments on the corner of a label. Definitely one to keep in mind when you need quick inspiration.

This is a pretty birthday card using the Lovely Arrangements Bundle and the Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper.

I started with a Cloud Cover card base. I chose the pretty Cloud Cover and white floral design from the Lovely Blossoms DSP and added a tiny border of white. This paper is from the January 2026 Online Exclusives product release. I didn’t put the paper on an angle (as it does my symmetric head in, lol) and instead left a small border of Cloud Cover showing on each side.

I used the Beautifully Celebrated Dies to crop the decorative label to sit the floral arrangement on. There are 6 nesting dies in the set along with some other smaller decorative pieces. The flowers from the Lovely Arrangements stamp set, which is also part of the Lovely Blossoms Suite, were stamped in Secret Sea ink. One is stamped on Cloud Cover card stock and the others on Basic White. The leaves were cropped from Basic White with Old Olive ink blending to provide a softer look. The flowers were popped up at different heights to add lots of texture.

For the inside I have used the same style as the front of the card. This time using the lighter side of the Secret Sea Two-Tone card stock to mat the writing panel. At the bottom I have a narrow strip of the Secret Sea diamond design from the Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper. I arranged some of the left over elements in the bottom corner for decoration.

I know I will get a lot of use from the Lovely Arrangements Bundle. The open flower images provide scope for lots of colouring techniques and there are lots of extra decorative dies to use as well.
