CASE-ing the Catty – Easter Basket Bundle

Hi there,
Welcome to CASE-ing the Catty for this week.
If you’ve come from visiting Kathryn, then welcome! If you’re visiting me, I appreciate you stopping by today! You can continue your journey to see the other inspiring creations from the CTC Crew by clicking on the button at the bottom of the post.

This week we are CASE-ing a project from the 2026 January – April Mini Catalogue that features animals. There are quite a few projects in the Mini Catalogue that feature cute critters, so there is plenty to choose from.

I chose the project in the photo above from page 34 of the 2026 January-April Mini Catalogue. This is a sweet card featuring the cute bunnies from the Easter Basket Bundle. I finally caved and this bundle arrived in my craft room late last week.

I couldn’t resist the sweet bunnies from the Easter Basket Bundle and decided to create a baby girl card. The card base is Thick Basic White in a landscape profile. I wanted to keep the feel very soft, so I looked at Bubble Bath as an option for the background. However, the reverse side of the Bubble Bath Two-Tone has a slightly darker colour in the tone of Pretty in Pink, which was perfect. The floral print is a shiny multi-tone pink from the Pleasant Patterns Specialty DSP. I added a narrow border of white at the sides to help it pop from the pink.

I stamped a few bunnies and the little crop of flowers in Smoky Slate ink. The bunnies are very softly coloured with Copic N0 and N1 as the Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends were darker than I wanted. Pretty in Pink Blends were used for the flowers and Light Bubble Bath for the bunny cheeks and ears.
There are coordinating dies to crop the bunnies and the flowers and I also added some grass cropped from Basic White. For a little extra sparkle, I added glue to the bunny tails and sprinkled on some (retired) Dazziling Diamonds Glitter. The elements were arranged on the floral panel with some adhered flat and others popped up for dimension.
The greeting from the (retired) Cutest Onsie stamp set was stamped in Smoky Slate ink and cropped with the banner from the (retired) Happy Little Things Dies. I added the little scalloped edge under the greeting using the edge of the cracker die from the (retired) Cracker & Treat Box Dies.

For the inside, I have continued with the same style as the front. This time, I added a narrow border of the darker side of the Bubble Bath Two-Tone on the sides of the writing panel. Three greetings from the (retired) Cutest Onsie stamp set were stamped in the centre with the little clump of flowers in the corner.

This photo shows the pink tones in the background floral more clearly. The photo of this design in the Online Store does not do it justice at all!
