CASE-ing the Catty – Peaceful Garden Suite

Hi there,
Welcome to CASE-ing the Catty for this week.
If you’ve come from visiting Peta & Marvi, then welcome! If you’re visiting me, I appreciate you stopping by today! You can continue your journey to see the other inspiring creations from the CTC Crew by clicking on the button at the bottom of the post.

This week we are CASE-ing a project from the Peaceful Garden Suite from the 2025 September-December Mini Catalogue. This suite is definitely a favourite for me. The designer paper is very versatile for multiple occasions and the Peace on Earth Bundle has lovely sentiments and of course, the beautiful dove dies.

I chose the project above from page 34 of the 2025 September-December Mini Catalogue, using the layout for my inspiration as the colours are pretty uninspiring in my opinion!

As you can see, the layout of my card is very similar to the sample project but I have replaced the large greeting with the pretty bauble. I started by adding the Misty Moonlight star design paper from the Peaceful Garden DSP to my Basic White Thick card base. Next up is the banner cropped from the mottled Cloud Cover design.

The bauble was cut from another of the designs in the Peaceful Garden pack using the Bauble Blooms Dies. I positioned the doves in the centre and the symmetrical imagery works beautifully. I cut another bauble from (retired) Silver Foil and then cut it down the centre to form the border around around the bauble. The pierced edge really makes it pop. The hanger was cropped twice from Silver Foil and I adhered one on the front and back to make it sturdier. I popped up the bauble over the banner with Dimensionals and tucked in a few pieces of white foliage.
I found another set of doves close to the edge of the paper and fussy cut them. The wings were curled with the bone folder and then popped up on the bauble to really bring it to life. I found a little piece of my favourite (retired) Silver & White Sheer ribbon and created a petite bow that I positioned under the hanger. I finished with the greeting from the Peace on Earth stamp set, which was stamped in Misty Moonlight ink and added across the bottom of the bauble.

For the inside I have a Misty Moonlight mat for the writing panel. I did a little ink blending at the base of the writing panel and adhered another fussy cut set of doves. The greeting from the Words for the Season stamp set was stamped in Misty Moonlight ink.

I hope you find my version of this layout more inspiring!

Stunning card, Judy! I love every detail! And blue is always my go-to for Christmas cards…I try to use red & green but always come back to blue. If I hadn’t done doves for Christmas last year, I would totally case your card for this year! Thanks for sharing!!
love love love the bauble details!!! What a gorgeous card – I just love this!
The bauble is a wonderful focal point Judy, and I love the doves with their wings lifted.
