CASE-ing the Catty – Perfectly Pears

Hi there,
Welcome to CASE-ing the Catty for this week.
If you’ve come from visiting Peta & Marvi, then welcome! If you’re visiting me, I appreciate you stopping by today! You can continue your journey to see the other inspiring creations from the CTC Crew by clicking on the button at the bottom of the post.

This week we are CASE-ing projects from the July 2025 Online Exclusives. We have some lovely products in the latest release of Online Exclusives that you can find only in the Online Store. We get a new release every 2 months, so keep up to date with what is happening by subscribing to my Monthly Newsletter.
I chose the project in the photo above using the Perfectly Pears Bundle for my inspiration this week. I had intended to bring you a project using the Bauble Blooms Bundle, but no amount of hunting would bring to light the coordinating dies, which was super frustrating. Let’s hope they make an appearance soon.

Don’t those pears look yummy? I decided on the Balmy Blue sheet from the Beautiful Bokeh 6″ x 6″ DSP pack for the background and layered it on a Basic White mat with a narrow border. I started by cropping the long stem from Basic White and adhering them to the background as if the branches were hanging over the corner of the card.

I stamped the outline of the pears from the Perfectly Pears stamp set in Early Espresso ink and used the fill-in stamp for super quick colouring. You get built-in shading from the stamp and I used Daffodil Delight for each of the pears. I added a little extra colour to each one using a sponge dauber, which makes them all unique. The additional colours were Old Olive, Strawberry Slush and Pecan Pie. Once the stamping was done, I coloured the leaves with Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends and cropped them with the coordinating die. The pears were positioned over the leaves and adhered with 1mm foam pads.
The greeting is also from the Perfectly Pears stamp set and I stamped it in Early Espresso ink and cropped it with a die from the Perennial Postage set.

I kept the inside very simple, with the off cut of the Balmy Blue Bokeh DSP at the bottom of the writing panel and another set of Pears. This set just uses Daffodil Delight without any extra shading.
