Heart of Christmas – Peaceful Prints

Welcome to Heart of Christmas for 2021. Each week (until mid-December), the talented ladies from the Art with Heart team will bring you inspiration for your holiday craft projects.
This week I have another card using the fabulous Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper which is one of the FREE products you can choose with a qualifying order during Sale-a-bration (until 30 September 2021).
I started with a panel of Real Red card stock and heat embossed the greeting from the Sweet Little Stockings stamp set in white at the base. Strips of the Real Red, white and Sahara Sand designs were added at the top of the panel and I finished with a narrow border of the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper at the bottom for a little bling.
I die cut the medium sized doily from the Encircled in Beauty Dies set to provide a background for the deer punched from the designer paper with the Deer Builder Punch. I added it to another deer punched from Basic White to make it robust to pop up on the doily. Just in case you're wondering, I deliberately left some of the pieces in the doily, to make it look less busy.
For the inside, I have a Real Red mat for the writing panel, with a strip of the striped design on the left and a fussy cut deer on the right.

Lovely card Judy showcasing how the different DSP sides coordinate so well together. The doily die adds a gorgeous base for the deer.
Great design, Judy – such a fab way to show off the different patterns on those lovely papers. I especially love the bold sentiment on your card. It looks so good, embossed in white, on Real Red card. This is a really lovely card.

Your card is wonderful, Judy! It was a great idea to leave the little bits in the lacy die-cut, and the strip of Dazzling paper looks great. I keep forgetting to use that paper!!

What a beautiful and elegant card Judy, I really like that die that the deer is set upon. The different strips of DSP must me the go today. and your card looks so good with them as the backdrop with the little bit dazzling strip perfect! I think I need these dies now! Really lovely card!
