Heart of Christmas – Christmas Tags & More Fun Fold

Welcome to week 9 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop for 2025. Each week until end of November, the talented ladies from the Art with Heart team are bringing you inspiration for your holiday craft projects.

This is a Side Accordion Fun Fold card using the Christmas Tags & More Mix & Match Specialty Paper that will 'WOW' your recipient.

Today I have a Fun Fold card using the Christmas Tags & More Mix & Match Specialty DSP. This is a really great pack of paper with 8 sheets of the double-sided designs and 4 sheets of pre-cut images. It is absolutely perfect for quick makes, cards, tags and albums. The only downside for me, is that it doesn’t include a red design. So, I have brought in the red polka dot design from the Traditions of Christmas Specialty DSP. It provides a lovely contrast to the plaid.

This is a Side Accordion Fun Fold card inspired by this one from Lisa Curcio. I have modified the size for our A4 card stock, so that it uses the entire length. The the pop out panel was changed to a rectangle to accommodate my embellishments. Because there are lots of layers on this card, I have used Basic White for the card base, instead of Basic White Thick card stock. For the Garden Green mats I used the Two-Tone card stock as it is a little thinner than our normal coloured card stock. Nonetheless, it is still a fairly thick card and would probably require extra postage. For a special card, I think that’s OK.

This is the card open for display, showing the alternating plaid and red polka dot paper on the accordion folds. On the panel at the right, I have stamped my go-to greeting from the Words For The Season stamp set. I added another of the pop-out images and a strip of holly design at the bottom. You could choose to use this panel to write your personal message, but I prefer not to when the card is designed for display.

For the front of the pop out panel, I have used the Words For The Season Dies to cut the greeting from Gold Foil. I have a second smaller greeting at the bottom from the Greetings For You Mix & Match Ephemera. The second panel panel has a pretty tree that I fussy cut from one of the tag pieces. There are parcels popped up at the base and a Gold Foil star popped up at the top. I have added tiny 1mm rhinestones from my stash, coloured with a Real Red Stampin’ Blends marker.

I have created a writing panel on the reverse using the lovely garland design. I fussy cut the Poinsettia flower from one of the pop-out images and added it to centre for the finishing touch.

  1. Oh wow Judy, what a stunner! I love your fun fold and the beautiful way you have decorated the card. The little extra touches like the presents under the tree and the poinsettia in the centre of the garland make it so special. xxx
