CASE-ing the Catty – Tile Garden Bundle

Hi there,
Welcome to CASE-ing the Catty for this week.
If you’ve come from visiting Monique, then welcome! If you’re visiting me, I appreciate you stopping by today! You can continue your journey to see the other inspiring creations from the CTC Crew by clicking on the button at the bottom of the post.

This week we are CASE-ing the Bundles Section of the 2026 September-December Catalogue on pages 36-42. So many options to choose from!

I chose this card from page 38 for my inspiration this week. The Mosaic Garden Suite was one of the first items on my list for this catalogue. It’s been waiting for its time to shine, so this is the week! The patterned paper is so pretty with 2 colourways to choose from – Crisp Cantaloupe and Hydrangea Hue.

I love the Hydrangea Hue papers and unfortunately, these patterns are together on the same sheet. It always seem to happen this way! Anyway, I decided on a Split Front Fun Fold card using both the Mosaic Garden DSP and the Tile Garden Bundle. The Tile Garden nesting squares dies with decorative edges could totally stand on their own without the stamp set.
I started with a Basic White card base and cut 11cm off the bottom edge of the card base front. Then another 3.8cm was cut from the cut off piece. The Hydrangea Hue design was adhered to the top flap of the card base and the separate 3.8cm piece.

For the centre piece I used the 4th smallest of the Tile Garden Dies and cut the panel of Basic White twice to extend the length to a rectangle. It is quite easy to do with this decorative edge, as it is easier to ‘lock in’ the die to make the second cut. A panel of Hydrangea Hue card stock was added to the rectangle. On a slightly smaller panel of Basic White, I stamped 2 stems in Pretty Peacock. I did some light splatters in Hydrangea Hue and stamped the smaller flowers. The larger flowers were stamped separately and fussy cut and then popped on top of the stems. I added the small flowers in Daffodil Delight for a contrasting pop of colour.
The decorated panel was used to join the top flap of the card base to the separate 3.8cm panel that was cut off at the start. I used sticky note to line up and hold the bottom section to the bottom edge of the card base. You can then adhere the panel to both sections. I heat embossed the greeting from the Tile Garden stamp set in white and cropped it with a retired Stitched Rectangles die. I adhered it off the edge of the centre panel and added a small flower.

When you lift the split panel I have another card inside, which has the beautiful Hydrangea Hue floral pattern covering the front. You then see another panel with the numbers from A la mode Alphabet Dies and the greeting from the (retired) Layering Leaves stamp set.

On the inside of the second card, we have the writing panel with a narrow Hydrangea Hue mat. I added another greeting from the Tile Garden stamp set and some coordinating flowers were stamped in the bottom corner.
