Heart of Christmas – Festive Friends

Welcome to week 11 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop for 2025. Each week until end of November, the talented ladies from the Art with Heart team are bringing you inspiration for your holiday craft projects.
Today I have a fun card using the Festive Friends Bundle. This is a slimline card and I’ve used the Santa and Elf images to replace the ‘O’ in ‘HO HO HO’.

I started with the Real Red card base and then dry embossed the strip of Basic White with the (retired) Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder. The strip was trimmed with a narrow border of Garden Green and I used the lighter side of the two-tone card stock.

I intended to use the Party Alphabet Dies and then found the letters were a bit too wide to fit comfortably, so had to resort to the (retired) Large Letters Framelits for the ‘H’. The cute images from the Festive Friends stamp set were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then coloured with Stampin’ Blends Markers. They are quick and easy to colour. You can crop them with the coordinating dies, but I fussy cut them to achieve a narrow broder. They are popped up next to the flat letters.

I couldn’t resist adding some sparkle, so I used a glue pen to add (retired) Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to the trim on their hats and Santa suit. You can see it fairly well in the photo above. This is a quick card to create and adds a touch of fun to the festive season.
