Vanilla & Roses

Hi again

I have a quick and simple card to show you today using one of my favourite stamp sets – A Rose Is a Rose.  A card from the Stampin’ Up! Idea Book and Catalogue was the initial inspiration and particularly the Bella’s Border design which is classic and elegant. I stamped the rose bud directly onto the base card while the main flower (mounted on dimensionals) and leaves were stamped separately and cut out. The Bella’s Border was stamped in Versamark, which works really well on dark coloured cardstock for a tone-on-tone effect. The rest is pretty self evident and the specific details are below.

  1. This is just beautiful, Judy. I love how you’ve stamped the bud on the base card, then raised the flower up on dimensionals. Lovely clean, elegant lines, as always, my friend! Christine x

  2. I love how you have stamped the bud on the base card too. Great card with one of my favourite sets.
