Time for an update…

Hello

I'm back from my trip to Western Australia and have been busy catching up with work and chores that seem to multiply inexplicably when you are away.  I had a lovely time helping my Mum celebrate her 80th birthday and catching up with family I haven't seen for many years.  It was wonderful that she was finally well enough to enjoy both the family dinner and open house that we put on for her.

I also decided it was time to give my blog a bit of an update, which has consumed more (precious creative) time than I would wish.  Aren't the hyacinths in the banner gorgeous – I can almost smell the perfume.  I took this photo at the Floriade festival in Canberra a few years ago. Although we have now moved into Autumn, I couldn't resist the gorgeous burst of colour.

Today I have a couple of quick thank you cards to show you, both made with the versatile 'Bella Toile' stamp set. I don't think there is a colour that doesn't look wonderful with this gorgeous background.

  1. I really love the new look blog, so bright and cheerful and the new photo of you. Beautiful hyacinths. The Bella Toile stamp is a wonderful background. The Blue card is my fav, although as per usual both cards are perfect.

  2. LOVE your blog updates, Judy; the banner is stunning, and the colours go nicely with your clothes in that gorgeous photo of you (who was the clever photographer who took that??!). These two cards are beautiful. I particularly like the second one.
