Spring Bouquet

Hello again

Well, miracles do happen!  This is the third day in a row that we have had gorgeous spring sunshine in Melbourne.  I can't tell you how wonderful it is to be able to wear short sleeves, smell sunshine in the washing and admire the gorgeous green of the new leaves on my Birch and Liquidamber trees. I hope that it lasts a bit longer.

Yesterday I had an enjoyable few hours stamping with friends (that always go too fast).  I will show you what I made a bit later. Today I have a card with a fresh spring feel using the gorgeous In Colours Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz. The focus is the 'Elegant Bouquet' embossing folder which is showing the de-bossed side.  I've used ink pads and the aquapainter to colour the stems and highlight the centres of the flowers with Daffodil Delight. Isn't that tiny butterfly too cute?

  1. Well, doesn’t this look beautifully balanced?? You flipped it!! (Thank goodness for repositionable adhesive, hey?) It looks gorgeous, Judy. I love how you’ve coloured the flower stems and centres, and, yes, the tiny butterfly is just too cute!
