Simple Invite

Hello again

I'm going to WA shortly to catch up with family and friends for a couple of weeks.  It will also be my Mum's 80th birthday, so we are having a family dinner to celebrate.  I haven't seen some of my nieces and nephews since they were children (now they are adults), so it will be an interesting time.

To make it a bit special, I put together some invitations for the dinner in a card format.  I needed to produce a bunch of these really quickly as I had to send them to WA before they were posted to the recipients.  So, simple and elegant was the order of the day and the 'Baroque Motifs' scroll stamp fit the bill. I have embossed it in gold on Very Vanilla and then added a couple of small flowers punched with the Itty Bitty flower punch.  They were distressed a bit to give them some shape and then a small rhinestone popped in the centre.  The card base is Rich Razzleberry as is the sentiment.  They got the thumbs-up from my hubby (which always make me worry ) who always prefaces his positive statements with 'I don't want to encourage you, but…' . Gotta love those males! Anyway, here it is.  This isn't a very good photo, as it was taken in the early morning gloom, before rushing to the post office.
