More Sparkle
Hi there
I mentioned in this post that I was going to try some other colour options with the same design. Making more than one card at a sitting helps to build your Christmas card stash faster. However, despite my best intentions I always end up making some variations along the way. I have two of these to show you today.
The thing I haven't changed is the lovely silver Glimmer card that adds gorgeous sparkle to these cards. It is so easy to punch and the glitter stays put. The first card uses Elegant Eggplant as the background to the silver embossed tree from the 'Snow Swirled' stamp set. Despite the detail in this stamp, it embosses beautifully.
| Project Details | |
| Stamps | Snow Swirled, Delightful Decorations |
| Card stock & Papers | Bazzill White Linen, Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White, Perfect Plum Pattern Stack, Silver Glimmer card |
| Ink | Versamark, Elegant Eggplant |
| Accessories | Basic Rhinestones, 2mm Rhinestones (not SU), Purple seam binding ribbon (not SU) |
| Tools | Apothecary Accents Framelits Dies(New), Finishing Touches Edgelits Die (New), Big Shot, 3/4" Circle punch, 7/8" Circle Punch (not SU), Corner Rounder punch (not SU), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Detail Silver embossing powder (not SU), Heat gun |
The second card is the same design, with the tree from the 'Lovely as a Tree' stamp set. I used markers direct to the rubber, trying out the new In Colour 'Gumball Green'. Despite the offputting name, it coordinates really well with Cherry Cobbler for a more traditional and rich colour combo. It is a little difficult to see, but I used a fine glue pen on the branches to add some Dazzling Diamonds glitter for coordinating sparkle.

Stunning! Fabulous cards Judy, love all the design elements you used.
Love these cards, so crisp and appealing..I might just have to do my own version, thanks so much for the idea!
Happy crafting,

They are so beautiful Judy – I have to add the framelits to my order now!
These are so beautiful, Judy. I didn’t think I needed those framelits, but you may have changed my mind! Amazing how different the cards look in different colour ways; they are all gorgeous.
Stunning and so very elegant Judy – these are fabulous!
Love this too!
So beautiful..but do you have to make your own envelopes to go along with the cards ?
