Moon Lake Birthday

I have recently found out that my blog updates have not been going out to subscribers. As a result I am moving to another service provider, so I hope you will bear with me in the meantime, while things get tidied up.
Now onto today's card I have to share. This is the first time I have inked up the 'Moon Lake' stamp set from the Occasions Catalogue, which was given to me by a lovely friend. It is a great set for masculine cards and I need all the help I can get when it comes to male cards!
I stamped the image in Memento Ink and then created a mask for it so that I could sponge the sky and the water before using Blendabilities to colour the duck and reeds. I pondered over cropping the image with a smaller circle, but decided it deserved some more space.
For the inside, I have added a strip of the Sweet Dreams DSP and a silhouette image from 'Serene Silhouettes' to complement the main image. All up, I was fairly happy with the way it turned out.

Very handsome! I enjoy Hardwood background stamp on masculine cards as well and appreciate you duplicating the blue and yellew hue of your coloring in the Designer Paper!
