Mojo Monday #248

Hi there

We had our first fine weekend in a month here in Melbourne.  It was so wonderful to see some blue sky after lots of cold, grey, wet weather.  I spent a lot of time in the garden pruning my roses and sweeping up leaves.  Yes, while most every other deciduous tree in the neighbourhood has been bare for ages, ours is still dropping its leaves.  I swear that the number of leaves doubles every year! Needless to say that today it looks like I barely did anything.

The card I have for you today is based on this weeks Mojo Monday #248 sketch. I loved the sketch as soon as I saw it but unfortunately I missed the deadline for submission. Here it is:

I have gone for one of my favourite colour combos – various shades of pink, brown and kraft.  The centre panel is the lovely branch of Cherry Blossom from the retired 'Easter Blossoms' stamp set, coloured with markers.  I got out some of my old (non SU) punches to come up with some matching cherry blossom flowers.

  1. Such an exquisite card, Judy. A breath of spring…although it’s back to grey dreary winter today! Those little blossom flowers are the perfect finishing touch. Love it! xx
