Merry Monday #84
Hi there
I've just managed to scrape into this week's Merry Monday #84 challenge of Trees with Bling. I definitely have the trees covered and I've added a touch of bling to the inside.
I've made this card for friends in Germany who will be having a snowy Christmas. They live in an area that backs onto a large park where the deer wander free, so I thought this was very appropriate.
I've kept the inside very simple with some more trees and a strip of silver glimmer paper to represent the snow.
This card is a custom size to fit my design, so I have taken the opportunity to make a custom envelope for it with the Envelope Punch Board and some retired 'Winterfrost' DSP that has Always Artichoke as one of the main colours. It is not a colour we have seen recently in DSP. I love how quick and easy this is now, with this tool.
| Project Details | |
| Stamps | Lovely as a Tree, Four the Holidays |
| Card stock & Papers | Kraft (textured, retired), Bashful Blue (retired), Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke. Whisper White, Silver Glimmer paper, Winterfrost DSP (retired) |

Thanks for looking!

What a beautiful scene, Judy! I love how you’ve put it in an oval with the banner! And that little flower is the perfect finishing touch! Thanks for sharing it with us at Merry Monday!
Oh wow Judy this is just beautiful!
This is just lovely, Judy! Beautifully done…and I love the envelope too! It’s funny how certain colors are trendy and the others (like Always Artichoke) get a wee bit left behind!
