Limited Time Blended Seasons Bundle
Hi there
Today, I wanted to share a card I've made with the new limited-time 'Colour Your Seasons' products. Limited-time means that the products are only available until 31 August 2018 and only while supplies last.
The bundle consists of the 2-box 'Blended Seasons' stamp set and the coordinating 'Stitched Seasons Framelits' and a set of 10 new Watercolour Pencils. If you like colouring, then you'll love the images in the Blended Seasons stamp set. It also includes flexible greetings in a lovely font.
The Stitched Seasons Framelits include a fabulous set of nested label dies that are stitched on both sides of the cutting line. I have created this sample of all the dies, so you can get a better look. The dies are $57 or your can save 10% and buy the stamp set and framelits as a bundle for $113 in clear mount or $134 in wood mount. Note, the watercolour pencils are not included in the bundle.
There are 3 label dies, plus, you can nest the dies to cut the frames shown in the photo. Also included in the set are the smaller images for embellishing your projects. The bell is the only stamped image that is die cut, so the framelits would be absolutely worthwhile on their own. Below you can see the negative frames that are created from the label dies, so you can use these panels on your card front and still have the decorative stitching on the edge.
For this share, I've focused on the Blended Seasons stamp set to create my card. I'll be following up with some additional posts using other elements of the bundle.
My first project is a CAS (clean and simple) Christmas card using the holly image. I stamped the image multiple times across a strip of Whisper White and then proceeded to colour with my Stampin' Blends alcohol markers. I wanted a bright and bold result to coordinate with the designer paper from the 'Under the Mistletoe' pack, so the Blends were the best option. For a softer look, use the watercolour pencils or aqua painter and ink pads.
I used Granny Apple Green on the holly leaves and Poppy Parade for the berries, with a touch of Cherry Cobbler to add depth. The holly strip was layered onto Gold Foil for a touch of bling. The greeting from 'Snowflake Sentiments' was stamped in Real Red at the top of the Whisper White panel and then the holly strip was added next and the designer paper at the bottom. The finished panel was layered on to a Granny Apply Green mat and then onto the Whisper White card base.
For the inside I have added another piece of the coloured holly to the bottom of the writing panel with a narrow strip of Gold Foil at the top. I fussy cut a little holly and added it to the top right corner to finish.
I love the brightness that the Granny Apply Green adds to the traditional Christmas colour combination of red and green.

Beautiful card. Would you be able to share the measurements of layers? Thank you
Judy, I love your card! I want to thank you for highlighting the dies from the Blended seasons and explaining about the stitching and nesting possibilities. I am not so taken with the style of the Stamps in this bundle but now am considering just the dies. I appreciate you sharing the picture of the cut out die shapes. Many thanks.
Hi Judy I love this card. Do you have the measurements you can share for the layers? Thanks so much!
