Just Add … Easter!

Hello

It was a beautiful autumn weekend here in Melbourne.  I had the pleasure of spending most of it with some lovely stamping friends and we chatted, ate chocolate (and other treats) and enjoyed the shared creative process.  Unfortunately one friend was feeling poorly and couldn't make it – we missed you Kerry and hope you are now on the mend.

One of the cards I made uses this sketch from Retro Sketches and I have combined it with this week's challenge from Just Add Ink to 'Add Easter'.  Unfortunately, I missed the Retro Sketches deadline, but here is the sketch:

For the base, I have used the lovely floral designed from the 'Twitterpated' DSP that is now available in the new Autumn/Winter Mini Catalogue that commenced yesterday (1 April 2012).  For the centrepiece of the banner I have coloured another of the very cute images from the 'Everybunny' stamp set with Copics and mounted it on a rosette cut from the matching Baja Breeze design.  The bunny's dress has been paper pieced with the DSP to match.
