JAI38 – Add Bling and….Pink!

This week at Just Add Ink they are recognising Pink Ribbon Day for the Cancer Council. This is a fabulous event to raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer research. Of course, pink is the defining colour for this event so I'm in my element and what goes better with pink than bling!
I decided to do something quite different with a DL sized card for a change, using textured white. I've gone bold with Melon Mambo for the next layer and then a panel of floral motifs also in Melon Mambo from the 'Friends Never Fade' stamp set. The panel has been matted on black and dressed up with adhesive rhinestones and gorgeous back satin ribbon, topped with a flat back pearl. Here it is.

Accessories: Adhesive Rhinestones, 5/8” Satin Ribbon, Flat Back Pearl (retired Pretties Kit)
Tools: Scallop Trim border punch, Corner punch, Modern Label punch, Word Window punch, Sponge dauber, Glue Dots, Dimensionals

Whoa, this is bright! I expected one of your soft, girly pink cards, but this doesn’t disappoint. Very bold and crisp; the ribbon is divine!

I really like this Judy – for some reason I’ve never thought of using this stamp this way – it’s very elegant!
