JAI33 – Sketch Challenge
Hi there
Just Add Ink have a fabulous Sketch Challenge this week and this gives me the opportunity to try out the new Greenhouse Gala DSP. Initially, I have to say I wasn't that keen on this paper until I saw it IRL. Fortunately, most of the matching colours are existing core colours and Certainly Celery works well with it in the absence of the Pear Pizzazz In Color. I can't wait until we have all the new goodies to play with! This is the sketch:
I decided to turn the sketch vertically, but either way I can see myself using this one again. I have gone with a top folding card for a change in Baja Breeze textured cardstock for the base and the Greenhouse Gala DSP layered on Chocolate Chip and popped up. I have added some bling with the chocolate Supernova glitter sprinkled onto Sticky Strip to separate the designs. I love the subtle but sparkly effect and it stays in place really well. Unfortunately, it doesn’t show up very well on the photo. The image from the ‘Friends Never Fade’ stamp set has been stamped twice, with the flower cut out and popped up. Here it is, I hope you like it.

Beautiful, Judy! I’m glad you like Greenhouse Gala DSP now; I love it, and think I already need some more! I really like your used of a ‘glitter strip’ to separate the panels, and your little bow is DIVINE!!
This is a beauty of a card Judy! I wasn’t keen on that DSP at first but the more I see it, the more I’m starting to come around 😉
Another beautiful entry for the JAI challenge. Love everything about it, but especially how well that DSP goes with the continuing colours we have. Lovely!
