Heart of Christmas – Trucking Along
Welcome to Heart of Christmas for 2023. Each week (until early December), the talented ladies from the Art with Heart team will bring you inspiration for your holiday craft projects. I hope to be here on a Monday evening as much as possible this year, to help me build up my Christmas card stash.
As my preorder from the new 2023 September-December Mini Catalogue didn't arrive until today, I decided to use the Trucking Along Bundle for my card this week. It is fun and unconventional, but I was happy with the way it turned out.
I started off with some ink blending on a piece of Basic White to create the sky background and that was the basis for the colour choice of Berry Burst and Blueberry Bushel for the gingham and plaid banners that the truck sits on. The It's In The Stars background stamp was heat embossed in silver to create the lovely starry sky. The truck is popped up on Dimensionals and the parcels and tree are layered up in the back of the truck to create more dimension.
For the inside, I have stamped the parcels along the bottom of the writing panel and partially coloured them and then added it to a panel of Blueberry Bushel to create a narrow border.

Judy your card is stunning both inside and out. The choice of colours, the ink blending, the heat embossed background and the choice of DSP is simply perfect.
