Happy Easter Everybunny!
Hi there
I hope the Easter Bunny has found the way to your door, wherever you happen to be this Easter. It's a bit grey and chilly in Melbourne this weekend; Autumn seems to have arrived quickly. Great for soup and crafting, which I will be doing today!
I have a couple of Easter projects I haven't had time to post in the last week. The first one is an Easter basket I made for a lovely friend. I found a Spanish blog with some photos of this style of basket, but no instructions or dimensions (that I could read anyway!). So after 2 attempts, I managed to create this basket sized to hold the cute Lindt hens and spotted eggs. I have kept the decoration on the basket to a minimum so that the bright colours in the eggs and hens take the spotlight. The Melon Mambo trim around the top edge adds some contrast to the Baked Brown Sugar basket and helps to strengthen it. I love the lace tape on the handle, which I have had for ages and just 'discovered'.
The cute line images from the retired 'Everybunny' stamp set are some of my favourites and I have coloured the little girl with her basket in matching colours and paper pieced her dress in Melon Mambo polka dot DSP. You can still get this stamp set as a digital brush set, so you can print the images via the Stampin' Up! MDS software or through other software such as Photoshop Elements.

| Stamps | Everybunny (retired) |
| Card stock & Papers | Baked Brown Sugar (Cor'dinations), Melon Mambo, Whister White, Blending Card |
| Ink | Memento Tuexedo Black, Baked Brown Sugar |
| Accessories | Delicate Details Lace Tape, 5/16" Neutral Brads (retired), Basic Pearls |
| Tools | Simply Scored Board, 1 3/4" Circle punch, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Sticky Strip, Sponge Dauber, Dimensionals, Tombow glue, Copics |
The second project is another card made using the 'Blessed Easter' stamp set. I sent the first one to my Mum and this one is for my mother-in-law Betty. I haven't been a fan of Pistachio Pudding up to now, but I love how this works with Rose Red. It is difficult to see, but I have used the Occasions Paper Piercing template around the Rose Red oval. I don't know if it is just me being anal, but I'm sure the wording of the text in the sentiment isn't straight and it drives it me nuts everytime I look at it!

The basket is delightful, Judy. I love the contrasting trim, the sweet tag and the lovely lace tape on the handle – a gorgeous gift. You’re right about the colour combination on the card; it’s beautiful. (And yes, the sentiment is created wonky – I’m amazed you can bring yourself to use it, LOL.)
