Freshly Made #41

Hi there

It has been a while since I have done a sketch challenge, so I thought I would get back in the saddle with this week's Freshly Made #41 .  I needed to replenish my stash of small thank you cards and this is a great sketch to create some fresh CAS cards.  Four inches (10cm) square is a good size as you can get 4 cards from a 12" x 12" sheet of card stock. Here is the sketch:

Freshly_Made_41I have broken open my 'Summer Smooches' DSP which was a gift from Stampin' Up! at Convention.  The colours are bold and bright and a real contrast to the grey, wet and cold weather we are having here in Melbourne. We had the opportunity to use the new butterfly punch for our 'make & takes' at Convention so I took the opportunity to cut some extra butterflies out of the scraps of paper and card stock. We will see the butterfly punch in our new Catalogue commencing on 1 September 2012 – only 8 weeks from today!

  1. This is so pretty. I really like how you mixed up the DSP – the patterns are so varied but look fantastic together. And I love how you framed the butterfly with the flowers. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!
