Florals in Bloom Fun Fold Card
Today I’m sharing the Florals in Bloom fun fold card that we made in the June round of classes. I have used the Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper so many different ways! There are sheets that you can die/fussy cut and others with pretty floral designs like the one I’ve used.
This photo doesn’t do the designs justice at all, but you can see the variety of patterns and colours.

This photo shows the card closed. You can see that it looks very much like a standard Z fold card at first glance. I often find that Z folds don’t give you much room to write your message as you are limited to the space hidden under the label or a very narrow strip down the left under the fold.

This is the card open and you can see the dry embossed panel next to the floral panel and then on the right another lovely greeting that was hidden behind the front embellishment. I love stacked greetings to extend your good wishes. You might be wondering where you write your message?

Hey presto, there is a card inside the card! You still have the full space to write your message and it remains private when the card is on display. Thanks to Lynn Dunn for this great design. She used designer paper for the inside card, but I have used Basic White card stock and added the floral paper on the front as I wanted my floral paper to go further. I have also modified the design for our metric card stock. To make sure the finished card isn’t overly bulky, I recommend you use Basic White (rather than Thick Basic White) for both the Z Fold and the inside card.

The card stands beautifully for display and shows off the pretty floral paper so well. This layout would be perfect for special and milestone occasions. I hope you like this Florals in Bloom Fun Fold card.

Beautiful use of this paper, Judy – and using a sheet I had barely noticed. The pink and yellow combination is gorgeous, as is the classy fun fold!
