Fancy Fold for Mum
Hi there
It was my Mum's birthday this week, so I wanted something a little bit different for her. We recently had a lovely stamping day and I was shown how to make this Double 'Z' fold card. It is surprisingly easy to make and packs a punch as it uses Designer Paper for the base.
I have used my favourite Coastal Cabana Designer Paper for a fresh look. A belly band holds the card closed and it is topped with a frame created with the 'Deco' framelits. I added some cute flowers from the 'Petite Petals' stamp set and the matching punch makes these a quick embellishment. I haven't used them before, but these framelits are a lovely shape and the stamped frame that matches the smallest of the framelits is from the 'Morning Post Numbers' stamp set.
This is the card once it is open. The centre panel matted with Coastal Cabana card stock ensures the card will stand up firmly.
You can find a detailed tutorial to make this card here.

Wow! I love this card! The colors, flowers, and the special folds. How did you do this? I would love to make a card like this for my mother-in-law.
What a beautiful and eye catching card. I bet your Mum loved it. Is this tutorial similar to what you used to create the card?
