CASE-ing the Catty - Garden Gatherings Bundle

This week we are CASE-ing a Bundle and I’ve chosen the Garden Gatherings Bundle that arrived in my craft room recently. It is a very sweet set of flower images with vases and foliage and is perfect for quick make cards and note cards.

You can see the bundle and this project above on page 39 of the 2026 May-August Catalogue. It was the starting point for my card, but I took it in a slightly different direction.

I have kept the background layer similar in style with two of the designs from the Beautiful Ordinary Life DSP pack. A Flirty Flamingo border covers the join, with a narrow mat of Basic White.

I have used one of the rectangle dies from the Textured Notes Dies to crop the background for my vase of flowers. It was popped up over the border to even out the height. The vase was cropped from Basic White and I coloured it with Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blends, so I could control the depth of colour. You could also use ink and a blending brush, but it gets a little fiddly on a small piece. To give the vase more depth, I dry embossed it with a fabulous NEW (coming 1st September) 3D embossing folder called Softly Woven. It is a very fine plaid pattern and I have placed the vase on the diagonal for more interest. This embossing folder is definitely a keeper and will be getting lots of use.

The flowers were stamped in Old Olive and Flirty Flamingo ink and cropped with the corresponding die. They were positioned behind the vase, with the front spray popped up. The greeting is from the Sweetly Sentimental Hot Foil Dies and I added the tiny Lost Lagoon scallop trim underneath. I finished with a white Baker’s Twine bow at the corner of the vase.

For the inside, I have a Pool Party mat for the writing panel and another vase with a single spray of flowers in the left corner.
