CASE-ing the Catty – Cutest Onsie Bundle

Hi there,

Welcome to CASE-ing the Catty for this week.

If you’ve come from visiting Rebecca, then welcome!  If you’re visiting me, I appreciate you stopping by today! You can continue your journey to see the other inspiring creations from the CTC Crew by clicking on the button at the bottom of the post.

This week we are CASE-ing a punch or die project from the 2025-2026 Annual Catalogue. That’s provides plenty of scope with lots of projects to choose from.

I have chosen the Cutest Onsie Bundle for my die project this week. One of my lovely class ladies asked for a baby card this month, so my project does double duty. You can see this bundle on page 99 of the 2025-2026 Annual Catalogue and because it is a returning favourite you can find the sample project above in the Online Store. This bundle looks small, but it is super cute and you will be surprised by all the little details you can add to your project. The price is also a nice surprise at $47.50 AUD for the stamp and die bundle.

I prefer pastels with lots of white for baby cards, so I started with a Basic White Thick card base. My thought was to create a unisex card, so I chose Pool Party for my accent colour. It is a lovely soft blue/green that I think works for either sex – what do you think? The greeting from the Cutest Onsie stamp set was heat embossed in white at the bottom of the Pool Party panel before adding it to the card base.

The white background panel has been dry embossed with the (retired) Cute Crochet 3D Embossing Folder. I chose it for the soft design that looks like it could be a baby blanket. The embossed panel was cropped with the scalloped border die from the (retired) Scalloped Contours Dies. This die adds some extra sweet details with the pierced and scalloped border.

The onsie outline image was stamped in Smoky Slate ink on the Pool Party striped paper. For the other one, I stamped the outline image onto Basic White and stamped the small stars from the (retired) Decorative Trees stamp set in Pool Party ink. Both images were cropped with the corresponding die from the Cutest Onsie Dies. The die cleverly cuts around the neckline to allow the cute coat hanger to be inserted from behind. The rattle and numbers were also cropped with extra dies from the Cutest Onsie Dies. The congratulations greeting from the Cutest Onsie Stamp Set was heat embossed in white on Pool Party card stock and cropped with the banner die from the (retired) Happy Little Things Dies. I finished with a trio of rhinestones for a touch of sparkle.

For the inside, I have a Pool Party mat for the writing panel. Two additional greetings from the Cutest Onsie stamp set was stamped in the centre. A narrow strip of the striped paper was added to the base of the writing panel to ground the sweet little deer. The deer was stamped in Smoky Slate ink and coloured very softly in gray with a Pool Party bow. It was fussy cut and adhered in the bottom corner.
