CASE-ing the Catty – Christmas Tags & More

Hi there,
Welcome to CASE-ing the Catty for this week.
If you’ve come from visiting Rochelle, then welcome! If you’re visiting me, I appreciate you stopping by today! You can continue your journey to see the other inspiring creations from the CTC Crew by clicking on the button at the bottom of the post.

This week we are CASE-ing a Returning Favourite from the 2025 – 2026 Annual Catalogue. You can see these products on pages 98-101 of the catalogue.

I chose the project in the photo above from page 110 of the Annual Catalogue. It uses the Lifetime of Love stamp set and Lifetime of Love Dies which are available for purchase separately. I’ve taken the layout for my inspiration, plus I never pass up the opportunity of creating a wreath!

I thought this would be the perfect layout to create a Christmas card. It might sound early, but 2 more weeks and we are in September and then it is the downhill run to Christmas (apologies if that news is horrifying!). I have a fixed deadline for my cards this year, as we’re heading to Europe in November to enjoy the Christmas markets and festivities.
The returning favourite (Lifetime of Love Dies) has been combined with some sneak peeks of product that will be available in the September-December Mini Catalogue from 3 September. I have a Basic White card base and added some of the plaid design from the new Christmas Tags & More 6″ x 6″ Speciality DSP. This pack has 8 each of 4 double-sided designs, plus 4 sheets of cute pre-cut designs. It’s perfect for creating heaps of tags and cards.

The Basic White centre panel has been dry embossed with the (retired) cross-hatch design from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders to add texture. The wreath from the Lifetime of Love Dies was cropped twice from Garden Green cardstock and adhered together for more presence.
I positioned the strip of Real Red cardstock over and under the wreath and it provides the background for the pre-cut gold foil greeting from the new Greetings For You Mix & Match Ephemera Pack. There are 6 sheets (2 each of 3 designs) of these gold foil pre-cut greetings and there are also self-adhesive, which is a bonus. I found them very difficult to photograph, so I understand why they look very underwhelming on page 15 on the September-December Mini Catalogue. Trust me, you’re going to love them! I decided to pop up my greeting this time.
The wreath was embellished with cute Poinsettia flowers cropped from red velvet paper using the Label Me Grateful Dies from the July Online Exclusive release. Yes, we have the All Season Velvet Specialty Designer Series Paper in red, white and green coming in the September Online Exclusives release. I cropped a little circle from Gold Foil and adhered it behind the flowers for some little pops of sparkle.
To bring it all together, I added a row of the (retired) Simply Elegant Trim to border the plaid panels and a trio of gold sequins to finish.

For the inside I have a strip of the plaid design the same width at the bottom with the gold trim above. A piece of a wreath was cropped for the corner and another Poinsettia added to provide a coordinating look.

I hope you enjoyed seeing these little sneak peeks today!

Absolutely beautiful creation!
I love this, Judy. Velvet poinsettias? Beautiful! The delicate gold trim is the perfect addition to your card.
