This week we have a sketch challenge, based on the sample project in the photo above.
Here is the layout in the format of a sketch, which is so versatile. We always love to see what you come up with too, so check out the details at the bottom of the post on how to participate in the challenge.

I have used more new products to create a Christmas card this week. I started with a thick Whisper White card base and I have used one of the designs from the new 'Tis The Season Designer Series Paper. This is a 6" x 6" stack full of fabulous designs in traditional colours. The patterns are perfect for backgrounds and come in 2 shades of red and 2 shades of green to give you ultimate flexibility. The one I have used actually combines both Cherry Cobbler and Real Red with the subtle striped design. I adhered the designer paper to a piece of Whisper White to give it some body, so I could wrap the the gold trim around it and finish with a bow. I then adhered the panel to the card base.
I have used one of the dies from the new Celebration Labels Dies for the background to my wreath. I have cut the wreath from Just Jade and Pretty Peacock card stock using the Wreath Builder Dies and offset them. I've added the Poinsettia flower from the die set on the left, cutting 2 from Real Red cardstock that was dry embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder and offsetting them. I also added the small flowers, finishing them all with gold Metallic Pearls. The greeting is from the coordinating Arrange A Wreath stamp set, stamped in Just Jade ink and cropped it with a die from the Hippo & Friends Dies.
For the inside, I have a Just Jade mat for the writing panel and I added a piece of the leftover designer paper at the left. I stamped part of the wreath from the Arrange a Wreath stamp set in the corner in Pretty Peacock ink and added a couple of the small red flowers with Gold Foil behind the centres.

Your card is very pretty, Judy! The Jade and Peacock look fabulous together, and the pops of red flowers are lovely.

Such a lovely Christmas card. I love the wreath you’ve created.
Loving those softer greens on your card Judy, just a touch different from traditional colours.
What an absolutely stunning card!! I haven’t noticed the celebration labels dies but I think I need them now! I love how you have embossed the cardstock of the wreath, such a great touch.
