CASE-ing the Catty – Woven Threads Colour Combo
Hi there
Welcome to another week of CASE-ing the Catty!
If you've come from looking at the lovely project on Monique's blog, then welcome! If you're visiting me, I appreciate you stopping by today! You can continue your journey to see the other inspiring creations from the CTC Crew by clicking on the buttons at the bottom of the post.

This week, we're CASE-ing the colours from the Woven Threads Designer Series Paper on page 14 of the Annual Catalogue and taking inspiration from the layouts on pages 12-13.
This paper has designs incorporating all of the 2019-2021 In Colours – Rococo Rose, Seaside Spray, Pretty Peacock, Purple Posy and Terracotta Tile. I have to say that in the beginning, I wasn't a fan, but when you see it in real life, there are some pretty designs.

I've taken my inspiration from the card above, using the gorgeous embossed rectangular frame from the Heirloom Frames Dies & 3D Embossing Folders. I turned the frame into a shaker element for my birthday card for a special friend.

I chose to start with my favourite of these colours – Seaside Spray for the card base and added some of the Seaside Spray and Terracotta Tile design from the Woven Threads Designer Paper with a very narrow white border to make it pop.
I heat embossed the greeting from the Rare Blessings stamp set in white on Seaside Spray card stock for the background of the shaker element. The 1/8" foam strips were placed around the edge and I added some of the pretty Woven Threads Sequin Assortment before adding the Window Sheet over the top. I embellished the frame with the stamped daisy from the Daisy Lane stamp set and some foilage cut with the Bouquet Bunch Dies in Seaside Spray card stock and Sparkle Glimmer paper. A small Terracotta Tile butterfly on the edge of the frame is the finishing touch.

For the inside I have a double mat for my writing panel and I added a strip of the designer paper at the base. I printed the greeting using my computer in matching Terracotta Tile ink so that it would fit with the die cut 'friend' I adhered underneath. If you would like to print your own greetings, you can go to my Printing Stampin' Up! Colours page that has instructions on how to do this; plus you can download my lastest Colour Chart with all the colour codes you need for your word processing program.

Such a pretty card, inside and out, Judy. I love the little touches like the terracotta tile butterfly.
I love how you’ve used the Heirloom Frames to make a shaker card. I love the little splashes of Terracotta Tile with the focus on Seaside Spray. I’m sure your friend will love it!
Great choice of card to CASE Judy. I love how you’ve turned it into a shaker card, just beautiful.
Oh my, this is so pretty, Judy! I really love the dusky blue that is Seaside Spray, and the paper you’ve used is perfect.
The frame looks lovely over the DSP, and I love the daisy and leaves in the corner.
Wow, you’ve made a glorious card. The sequins really make these colours shine. Love every detail.
How beautiful!! That DSP looks so pretty with the frame on top.
