CASE-ing the Catty – Garden Lane Colours
Hi there
Welcome to another week of CASE-ing the Catty!
If you've come from looking at the lovely project on Monique's blog, then welcome! If you're visiting me, I appreciate you stopping by today! You can continue your journey to see the other inspiring creations from the CTC Crew by clicking on the buttons at the bottom of the post.

This week, we are CASE-ing the colours from the Garden Lane DSP on page 41 of the Annual Catalogue. The Garden Lane Designer Series Paper is in lots of shades of green. I use green a lot for accents, but it isn't a primary go-to colour for me, so creating just with these colours was a real challenge.
I chose one of the designs from the Garden Lane Designer series paper pack as my starting point and then took my queues from the paper.

I started with a Mint Macaron card base and added a piece of the soft leafy patterned paper with a white background. In the centre is a panel of Mint Macaron card stock that I have dry embossed with the new Bricks & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder for some added interest and texture.

My focus is a fluffy white daisy created with thick Whisper White card stock and the Daisy Punch and the new Medium Daisy Punch. I've got 3 layers of petals for the base and 2 layers for the centre. The stamens are in Mint Macaron and cropped with a die from the Magnolia Memory Dies. I finished it with a large Clear Faceted Gem. Also from the same die set are the 2 leaves in Mossy Meadow.
I also stamped the greeting from the Rare Blessings stamp set in Mossy Meadow and cropped it with the Rectangle Stitched Dies. To finish I have finished with a silver leaf from the Leaves Trinkets topped with a Mint Macaron Baker's Twine bow. I used the Light Mint Macaron Stampin' Blend marker to colour White Baker's twine.
For the inside I added a layer of the designer paper and then the stitched rectangle writing panel matte on Mint Macaron card stock. I added another daisy at the base, this time just using the Medium Daisy Punch and a centre of Mossy Meadow. Instead of a gem I added a punched circle in Silver Glimmer.
