Christmas with ‘Dasher’
Hello
It took a bit longer than I expected to get back here to share this card with you, which I made a few weeks ago for a team swap. The idea was to use the sneak peak products from the 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalogue and no retired items. A kind friend gave me the 'Dasher' stamp a while ago (I had coveted it after seeing it on US blogs last year!) and thankfully it made it into the new Catalogue, so I was able to use it for the swap. It is one of the fabulous individual a la Carte stamps in this year's catalogue.
I have only used cardstock for this card, which makes it really economical to produce a bunch of them for your Christmas stash and it is quick to make. I have used a lovely sentiment from the new 'Contempo Christmas' stamp set, but you could substitute any sentiment stamp you have or rubons.

Yesterday, I spent a couple of pleasurable hours getting my hands on some of the new products that I had only seen in the catalogue. Seeing things 'in the flesh' is always better than in pictures! So I have created a similiar design using the rich 'Cherry Cobbler' cardstock and 'Jolly Holiday' DSP, gorgeous Old Olive satin ribbon (this feels beautiful to use) and Scallop Trim border punch. I have to say, that all of the products exceeded my expectations and I can't wait until my order arrives next week!

I like them both equally, when looked at separately. What do you think?
Stay safe in the wild and wet weather.

Just beautiful. Love them both!!
They are both gorgeous, in true “Judy style” – lovely and crisp, and clean-looking. Whilst I LOVE the new DSP, I think the Rich Razzleberry and Always Artichoke one is my favourite. Tough choice though!
These turned out absolutely beautiful Judy! The bling on the second one is the perfect touch.
Thanks for sharing. I love your Dasher cards. I
am from Ottawa, Ont. Canada and am a retired
St-Up gal and love all their products. God
bless you and your family.
They are both lovely but it is the green one with the DSP that really caught my eye, especially love the new border punch.
These are both perfect, Judy…such lovely colour combinations. Love them equally!
I love these cards and dasher, I was really excited to get one of these in the swap. Thanks for the inspiration.
Judy,
These are beautiful dasher cards! I especially like the Rich Razzleberry one.
They are both super stunning, but I have to go with the traditional green & red dasher! It is so striking!
They are both excellent, I can’t decide between them. Think I can feel a CASE coming on as I plan Christmas cards! Dasher is on my wishlist, was so happy to see him in our new catty.
