Cheers for the New Year!
Hi there
Happy New Year to you! I hope you've had a wonderful Christmas season in whatever way you celebrate it and now we are into another year. I'm sure this one will fly past just as quickly as the last one. This will be our 19th year in Melbourne and I just can't get my head around where all those years have gone.
Anyway, one of the best parts of starting a new year is that it is Sale-a-bration time again, where you get to pick your FREE products when you order between 3 January and 31 March 2019. Who doesn't like getting FREE craft goodies for doing something you were already going to do? Plus, the new Occasions Catalogue commences on 3 January with lots of great new stamps, dies, papers and embellishments to create with.
Using patterned paper is one of the quickest and easiest way to create, as they do all of the heaving lifting, leaving you to add a suitable greeting and embellishment. There is a great selection available in the Occasions Catalogue with something for everyone and every occasion, whether that be birthdays, weddings and anniversaries, Valentine's Day, for kids and the males in our life.
So you can enjoy these lovely papers without having to purchase full packs of each, I'm offering my 2019 Occasions Catalogue Designer Paper Sampler.
You will receive 82 sheets of 6" x 6" designer paper and a BONUS 8 (6" x 6") sheets of the beautiful new Grapefruit Grove and Lovely Lipstick Foil from the Sale-a-bration brochure. You get 2 sheets of each double-sided design and with the Floral Romance Specialty paper you receive 3 sheets of each and 2 designs are single sided vellum for layering. So that makes 90 sheets in total of gorgeous-ness for you to great creative. This size is perfect for card fronts, is easy to store and the most affordable way to have it all!
Please note, the Beautifully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper on page 48 of the Occasions Catalogue is NOT included. It is unsuitable to cut into 6" x 6" shares.
The cost is $44.00 including postage to anywhere in Australia. You can make your payment by PayPal or EFT to my bank account (this is preferred as it saves PayPal fees). Each set of papers will be in a separate cello bag and labelled for easy storage and identification. Your sampler will be carefully packaged to withstand the rigours of the postal system.
Fine Print: As I am 'sharing' full packs of designer paper, I need 4 people for each share to go ahead. If I am unable to secure 4 participants per share, I will contact you and refund your purchase (hopefully this will not occur).
Purchase your 2019 Occasions Catalogue Designer Paper Sampler now by using the PayPal button below and be in the first shares ordered on 3 January 2019.
Note: Due to Stampin' Up! Policy this offer is open to Australian Residents Only

Now onto something creative. We made this card in one of my classes late last year. It is a CASE of a beautiful card from @sleepowlco on Instagram.
There are 2 things I love about it – firstly the colour combination of Balmy Blue, Sahara Sand and white is just so fresh. Secondly, it takes what could be considered an essentially male-oriented stamp set in Rooted in Nature and gives it a more feminine twist. I haven't gone far from the original, just changing up a few things and adding a bit more dimension.
The leaves were stamped in Crumb Cake directly onto Whisper White and the birthday greeting from Cake Soiree in Balmy Blue at the bottom. I then gave it a good spritz with water on the reverse and dry embossed it with the Subtle embossing folder to add lovely texture. The tree stump was stamped in Balmy Blue and fussy cut and popped up over the stamped leaves. The Sahara Sand leaf has been embossed and the other two stamped in Balmy Blue and Crumb Cake. This close-up shows you all of this in better detail.
For the inside, I have a piece of striped Balmy Blue DSP at the bottom of the writing panel. The leaves were stamped on the panel and the vase, stamped in Crumb Cake and cropped with the Vase Builder punch, was popped up over the top.
I also stamped the vase on the envelope, masked it and then added the leaves for a coordinated look.
