CAS Masculine Birthday

Hi there

I finally have a card to show you after a few weeks of not creating.  Hopefully things will be back to normal now after a few hectic weeks post my trip to WA and our Rotary exchange student moving to a new host family.  In the last few days I have been busy completing the inside of 30 cards and packaging them up for a friend who is having a craft garden tea party on the weekend.  Hopefully more than a few will be sold, to build up my funds for the new Annual Catalogue that will be coming in July.

Last week on Anzac Day, if was my husband's birthday so I whipped up this card using the bold chevron pattern from the Parker's Patterns DSP.  It does suit masculine cards really well, with bold designs and a lot of options for coordinating colours. The fish tail or flag panel makes a clean and simple focus for any card and works well with a bold design.  I will miss  Not Quite Navy when the colour refresh takes effect and it is gone forever.  The Cherry Cobbler Core'dinations card stock was embossed with the Square Lattice embossing folder and then lightly sanded for the two tone effect of the background.
