Birthday Tulips
Hello
Today I have another birthday card to share with you, using the 'Love is Kindness' stamp for the first time. To make single stamps such as this (with a sentiment included) more flexible, I always carefully cut off the sentiment before I mount it on the wood block . You can then gently remove the rubber from the foam base and mount the sentiment on some Clear Mount Cling Foam and use it with an acrylic block.
I stamped the image in Basic Gray for a softer look and then coloured it with Blendabilities. I have fussy cut it before mounting on the Soft Sky oval and framing it with gold foil. As it is quite difficult to cut out all of the white space in the image, I have coloured these areas with the lightest of the Soft Sky Blendabilities so that it blends in with the background.
For the inside, I have repeated the gold striped paper from 'Gold Soiree' and a little group of tulips.

Love your card. I haven’t purchased this stamp set yet. Love it. Can use for so many occasions.
Thanks for sharing.
You are, by far, the most talented designer I’ve ever come across. When I see a newsletter in my mailbox, I get as excited as a kid at Christmas, as I should, since each one is a gift.
Cutting the stamp is a great idea I’ve never heard, plus I’m always bothered by the “white space” which is too small to cut out and now I know what to do.
You’re very kind to share your talent with the world.
