Bee-ing Thankful

Hi there

Today I'm sharing my customer thank you cards for September. I've been itching to use the super cute Bee Thankful stamp set and this was the perfect opportunity.  It is a single red rubber stamp in either clear or wood mount and as it is a line image, it is perfect for colouring. I've used my Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers to create an ombre look in two colour ways. 

I've used Bermuda Bay and Calypso Coral for the card base. For the Bermuda Bay version, I used light and dark Pool Party and light Bermuda Bay to colour the letters. For the Calypso Coral, I used light and dark Petal Pink and light Calypso Coral to achieve the ombre look.  

I ran the coloured panels through the Subtle embossing folder to add texture and then used a glue pen on the bee wings to add some Dazzling Diamonds glitter. A mat of Basic Black was added to the finished panel and popped up on the card base. Coordinating Baker's Twine was tied into a bow at the front and a sprinkle of rhinestones to finish. I hope you can see some of those dettails in this close-up photo. 

For the inside I stamped and coloured the cute bee again at the bottom edge, by masking off the the rest of the stamp. Narrow stripes of coordinating designer paper were added to each side to finish off the white writing panel.
