A Sheltering Tree for all Occasions
Hello
Today I am sharing a card using one of my favourite stamp sets from the Occasions Catalogue. For me, 'Sheltering Tree' will be a 'keeper'; one of those stamp sets that I keep long after it has officially retired. I don't think there is an occasion that it would not be suitable for – friendship, sympathy, thank you, get well, birthday or 'just because'. It is also easily adapted for feminine or masculine cards as well. This set is photopolymer, which makes it especially easy to place all the elements where you want without using a stampamajig.
I have sponged some clouds on the background for added interest before stamping the grass, tree and canopy. You can choose which of the cute little detail stamps to use based on the occasion; I have added a little crop of flowers and the bike. I'm looking forward to creating some more cards with this set.
For the inside, I have used the grassy mound and a few little crops of flowers to keep the theme going. It only takes a few extra minutes to decorate the inside of your card when you have all of the products on your desk.

That’s just so sweet Judy! I long for green grassy knolls and flowers myself! Been a long Winter in the States!
Beautiful, Judy. Love all the little details you’ve included & the cloudy background. Thanks for sharing it.
Inky wishes, Di
