A Little Bit Vintage
Hi there
Have you ever started creating with a very specific project in mind only to end up with something quite different? Well, that is how this card evolved. When this happens, I find it easier to just go with the flow and I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.
The card I have to share has a bit of a vintage feel. 'Something Lacy' has been clear embossed for the background and together with the lovely Sahara Sand Lace trim and Perfect Plum colour give it an olde world feel. I think this would make a lovely Mother's Day card, although I have decided to use it for a birthday. You could have this card in your stash and then decide what greeting to put on the inside, when you are ready to gift it.
I gave the butterfly a spritz with some Champage Shimmer Mist for a subtle sparkle. The Lotus flower has been stamped in Wisteria Wonder (stamped off), Perfect Plum and Tuxedo Black.
For the inside, I have used the circle wreath from 'Your Perfect Day' and added the greeting from the retired 'Simply Sketched' and a strip of the embossed lacy background.

Wow – this is so beautiful. I have seen many cards created using the lotus blossom stamp but this is by far the most beautiful. I love everything about it.
